Welcome to the Owline Isles
Owlines are a closed species by Feniick
Owlines are a highly adaptive owl-cat hybrid from the world of Hybris. They are a social species who enjoy decorating themselves and take a high pride in appearance. Their blood (like any hybris species) is filled with magic. They are able to evolve swiftly and are influenced by the environment to the extremes

Basic Anatomy
Owlines are a cat like species. Their bodies are small and flexible. They are good at running, climbing and often times flying. They are lightweight and agile. Their size can vary as much as a house cat. They can be as small as a munchkin or as large as a Maine Coon.

Head and Mouth
Owlines have a more bird-like skull with very large eyes. Their top jaw resembles a beak while there bottom jaw is catlike. Though hard to see, they have teeth like ridge's in their beaks to help with grasping and chewing their food.

Paws
Their paws are soft with sturdy pads. They have three toes and a dewclaw on each of their feet. Their main toes have retractable claws, but their dewclaws have an ever present sharp talon.

Feathering
Owlines can exhibit different sorts of feathering. Most owlines will have three broad tail feathers on their rear. Some owlines, though not all, will have feathering on their shoulder's and flanks. These are more common in Owline's with wings, but some flightless and aquatic owlines will also show these traits.

Wings
Wings are a common owline feature. Though there are flightless and Aquatic owlines, the standard variety has a variety of styled wings. They are generally built for sillent flying, but depending on their habitat, the shape and size varies wildly
